Developer

.Net Developer:
We seek a self-directed .NET professional who is a team player with great communication skills to work with project leads in resolving complex technical issues and understanding system performance associated with the implementation of new technologies.
This position will work on both new projects (25%) and the enhancement of our existing custom business applications (75%). (Most of our existing applications are mainly written in VB 6.0; a few others are written in C++ and C#). The .NET Developer will also be involved in working on technical tools and software evaluation as well as proof of concepts.
The main responsibilities of the position are to:
•support and enhance existing systems
•design, architect, and develop new applications based upon business specifications
•code, pre-test, debug and document applications
•create technical specifications for new and existing business applications.
•provide technical feedback and evaluation of proposals
•provide 24/7 support by pager (rotated week by week among all developers)
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate will have mid-level experience (3-6 years) with full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Along with that we’re looking for some pretty specific technical experience:

ASP, ASP.Net
VB.Net, VB, VBScript
C++, C#
HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
XML, XSLT
IIS 5, IIS 6 (deploying to and configuring for applications)
SQL Server 2000 (TSQL, Stored Procedures, query optimization)
Web Services
COM/COM +
Those are the requirements; it’s a plus if you have Architecting tools, Experience with the Betas versions of .Net 2.0, ASP.Net 2.0, SQL 2005, Design patterns and USE cases, UML Modeling, MCP, MCAD, MCSD certifications, Sharepoint, and/or RUP/agile methodologies.
