Desktop Engineering Manager - PHX (5314)

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Desktop Engineering Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.Job Responsibilities:
Oversee operational activities of assigned staff within a functional area with responsibility for staffing, quality and customer service.
Direct staff to complete assignments using established guidelines, policies and procedures.
Provide feedback on performance issues and evaluations.
Conduct staff meetings and provide status reporting.
Monitor costs and recommends cost-saving options to leadership.
Will have full functional knowledge of area of responsibility and may spend a portion of time performing the duties typically assigned to their subordinates.
Projects will include but are not limited to: software deployments, inventory and patch management for internal external client accounts.Required Skills:
5+ years of experience understanding of all infrastructure technologies is essential as this role includes heavy project involvement across all systems administration disciplines.

2+ years of utilizing project management skills to review, selection and implementation of new client facing technologies.

5+ years of experience in automating desktop image configuration and management specifically geared towards mass distribution including a MS Vista TAP implementation.

5+ years of functional experience in a desktop engineering or related role.

1+ years of managerial or supervisory experience managing staff and operations.

2+ years of Marimba experience with operation and processes.Desired Skills:
