Desktop Engineer

Purpose: Our customer is seeking highly qualified candidates for their organization that provides factory installed services for both Enterprise and Client customers. Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering development, integration and deployment of close to the box custom services. This role involves the translation of technical specifications from the customer into engineering requirements, engineering development of customer solutions and deployment of customer solutions into our production facilities for volume orders.

Qualifications

7+ years of engineering or IT technical industry experience

Imaging experience, scripting and programming, working knowledge of computer hardware, sysprep knowledge, MS OS configuration and customization

Bachelors degree or equivalent years of on-the-job experience

Preferred skills are:

Experience in technical customer sales or call center technical support

Masters degree in engineering, IT or business field

Technical Professional Certification (MCSE, Linux, ect)

Proven track record of process improvement or BPI certification

Subject matter expertise in test engineering process

Perl or Python knowledge
