Purpose:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce visually appealing pages for a wide variety of annual advertorial Special Sections. Work closely with sales reps and managers under tight deadlines to achieve optimum results in revenue and readership. Search for and create new graphics to enhance design and maintain market edge. Arrange processing of color corrections and final product pages with the production department. Research and suggest new revenue-building Special Section opportunities to support Advertising objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in liberal arts, design or related field.

Macintosh proficiency in InDesign, Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Detail-oriented and able to sit for long periods of time at console, working under deadline pressures.

Possess strong design skills, with at least 2-3 years of experience in the area of page design.

Possess a valid driver’s license and accessible transportation for local travel needs.
