Deputy SE IPT Engineer
Manage and perform technical tasks related to JHU/APLs support to MDAs Sensors Directorate and support Systems Engineering efforts under direction of the BMD Sensors Program Manager. Represent/support FBX-T SE IPT Lead Engineer at Technical Interchange Meetings, IPT Working Groups, and Data Analysis meetings as directed. Coordinate with prime contractor on Engineering Technical Reviews, Requirements Management and engineering lifecycle tasks, ensuring cross IPT interaction on the FBX-T program. Work with FBX-T SE IPT Lead Engineer and coordinate with other technical leads (e.g. Algs, SW, RADIT), to identify, assess, and articulate technical needs for the FBX-T program. Ensure that these needs are translated into tangible technical tasks and schedules are met for deliverable. Report results of analysis, meetings, and other engineering tasks to JHU/APL and MDA/SN management as well as other technical leads (e.g. Algs, SW, RADIT, etc).
REQUIREMENTS
Required:
BS in physics, mathematics, EE or ME or equivalent. At least 3 years experience as Technical Lead. At least 5 years experience working DOD projects.
Desired:
MS in physics, mathematics, EE or ME. Technical experience with MDA and/or Sensors programs. An understanding of the MDA infrastructure, organization and culture.
