The U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command/9th Army Signal Command (NETCOM/9th ASC) is seeking highly qualified candidates for the dual-hatted position of Deputy Commander/Senior Technical Director. The position is located at NETCOM Headquarters on historic Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The surrounding family-friendly community of Sierra Vista is home to nearly 40,000 and is located 70 miles southeast of Tucson, home of the University of Arizona. This position offers a challenging and unparalleled opportunity for leading the operation, engineering, integration, transformation, sustainment, and defense of the Army's portion (LandWarNet) of the Department of Defense Global Information Grid. The LandWarNet provides enterprise communications capabilities across the full spectrum of network-centric operations and warfare enabling global and theater joint and combined operations. With over 15,000 military, civilian, and contractor personnel located in every theater in 20 countries around the world, NETCOM leads the way in communications and information management by integrating emerging technologies to improve current and future force capabilities. These capabilities ensure dominant land power and provide critical command, control, communications, and computers information technology (C4IT) capabilities in support of Battle Command and the National Defense Strategy. Candidates must have C4IT experience, executive/managerial and leadership experience, as well as an advanced degree in computer or electronics engineering.

This is a Senior Executive Service position. The annual salary range is between $109,808 and $165,200.
