This is a credit line optimization and statistical analyst/modeling position with Chase Card Services, directly support risk management. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for setting up effective and cost efficient test design associated with credit line processes; developing/validating/implementing risk, attrition, revenue and balance scores associated with credit line management functions; building customized optimization tools to be used in credit line and other business areas. Major business functions performed by this position include: process modeling data, data analysis, internal consulting, vendor evaluation, proposal development, customer behavior profiling analysis, experimental design; cost/benefit analysis; and operations research.

REQUIREMENTS


MS/PhD. in a technical field (Operations Research, Math, Econometrics or Statistics), preferred



Knowledge of statistical software packages (SAS, SQL, SPSS) is a must



Experience with Optimization using SAS or Cplex or Ampl is required



Business experience, especially banking industry experience is preferred



Evidence of leadership, initiative, productivity and teamwork preferred



Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills required



Senior level candidates should have several years experience modeling and analysis of large data sets, preferably in a credit card industry
