Position Purpose:
The objective of this role is to permit the practice of system supporting and analytical skills through practical industry standards and on-the-job training.

Job Description:
Responsible for supporting internal users and external clients
Responsible for maintaining PCs and productivity software as well as day-to-day administration of servers.
Troubleshoot Citrix Presentation Server/Terminal Server sessions
Configure and maintain Windows-based server farms (2000/2003), Citrix and Terminal Services
Install and maintain SQL 2000 databases
Maintain LAN/WAN connections for internal/external users
Perform SQL 2000 administration/troubleshooting,
Perform system maintenance checks, documentation and tier 2 technical support calls
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or pertinent field together with the immediate ability to perform the duties


Experience:

Ability to administer SQL Server 2000
Prior experience administering Active Directory 2003
Prior Citrix experience and certifications recommended Potential candidates should be able to interact effectively with clients, vendors, top management, quality assurance teams, developers, project managers, technical leaders, trainers and the support team.
A+ Certification or equivalent experience
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to interact with clients at all levels of management
Proven oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate the status of assignments
Ability to multi-task
Ability to take initiative with minimal management direction
Some travel may be required
Relocation to Kansas City is required
