Damage Control Lead Software Systems Eng

Purpose: Aerotek has a current need for a Damage Control Systems Engineering candidate for a full time, permanent position in the Annapolis, MD area.

The candidate will be responsible for all damage control and software engineering in an office and ship environment. This person will be assessing situations after/before damage has occurred to the vessel and automate commands to the partnering software engineers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-MANDATORY
1.Familiar with surface Navy damage control practices and applications either from active-duty military experience (e.g. former DCA) or from prior defense contract project experience.
2.B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related engineering discipline
3.8-12+ years of experience in developing control applications including:
a.IEC 61131-3 compliant PLC or softPLC software development environment
b.IEEE 12207 software development, test, and documentation
c.Experience with large software systems design and development
4.Self-motivated, confident individual with strong interpersonal skills to work with international and multi-site/multi-company teams
5.Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills
6.Willing and able to travel in U.S and internationally
7.Able to qualify for U.S. Government Secret security clearance

1.Knowledge and experience with SEI CMM Level III compliance
