DSP Software QA Engineer - Leading Wireless Semiconductor Co

We are recruiting for a Windows SW Validation Engineer to work on software utilized for tuning Digital Signal Processors. ROLE
Responsible for developing, modifying and testing COMPANY’s DSP tuning software. Work closely with COMPANY Product Development, third party software/hardware providers, and customers to implement and test Windows based tools developed for our customers. Assist lead customers during their design process to ensure our tuning software meets their specific needs and actually perform tuning operations. Work closely with other Applications Engineers and liase daily with the design, production, marketing and sales departments to ensure an optimum customer service and a first class solution to their needs.

REQUIREMENTS
3 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Setting up regression testing for COMPANY’s DSP Tuning software

· Writing and debugging tools for internal use

· Writing and debugging embedded/PC interface code.

· Assisting customers with software support during product development.

· Developing direct customer relationships to provide recommendations and feedback on new features for COMPANY’s next generation Bluetooth chip.

· Recognizing new business opportunities for COMPANY products and building on established relationships with customers.

· Driving, to resolution, any technical issues encountered by the customer during their development process.

· Aiding in the development of collateral (eg application notes, reference designs, white papers).

· Working closely with customer engineering to provide tuning and training.

4 QUALIFICATIONS
· 2-5 years experience writing, debugging and testing Windows GUI software and drivers

· Experience using MFC (Microsoft Foundation classes), COM (Common Object Model), and SQL

· 2 years experience working with validation tools and setting up regression testing for Windows based software products

· BSEE or equivalent

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

· Ability to effectively interface between customers and the COMPANY organisation.

· University degree in relevant subject with a good overall academic record.
