REQUIREMENTS
DSP SW Test Engineer – Auburn Hills, MI

1 ROLE
You will be responsible for test, validation and quality assurance of COMPANY audio processing solutions from the simulation level through to the system level. The main areas of focus will be implementations of Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Noise Suppression, and consumer audio products on COMPANY processors. As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with researchers, developers and other test engineers, and liaise with the design, production, marketing and sales departments to ensure a first class solution that meets customer needs.

Director, Algorithm Development

3 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating and executing validation test plans.

· Supporting the creation of Design and System Requirements Specifications.

· Working within a project team to follow defined development processes, perform testing up to the system level and provide complete documentation.

4 QUALIFICATIONS
· 2 – 3 years experience in test and validation of embedded software systems preferred.

· Experience with Matlab required.

· Audio Processing experience highly desirable.

· Knowledge of Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Noise Suppression and acoustic transducer principles.

· Experience with basic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) and data acquisition.

· Experience working with electronic hardware (reading schematics, performing or directing minor modifications)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· University degree in relevant subject with a good overall academic record.
