DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS NOT LOCATED IN ORLANDO.

Our Confidential Client located in the Southeast U.S. is looking for an experienced Director of Engineering. This individual will be responsible for all Engineering functions within the company.

Responsibilities:

Managing the activities of 35+ individuals involved in various levels of engineering activities including product development and manufacturing engineering.
Responsible for departmental staffing
Effectively train and motivate employees to work independently and on teams to meet predetermined deadlines on time and within budget
Establish departmental goals to insure they are in line with company goals to meet objectives. Monitors results to insure increase in profit margins and reduction in overall operating costs meeting strategic objectives
Responsible for cost control, budgets, technical proposals and on-time deliveries
Works with other departmental managers in developing long range planning objectives
REQUIREMENTS
BS Mechanical Engineering
MBA a plus
Minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years engineering management experience
