DETAILER STEEL AND MISCELLANOUS METAL

Purpose: AEROTEK has an immediate need for a DETAILER with structural steel and miscellaneous metals/ornamental detailing background. This is a full time position located just east of the city of Pittsburgh, PA.

Industry/Company background:
This company works for general contractors that install railings, staircases, and structural steel while working to construct buildings.

Resume Requirements:
1) Min. of AS degree in Drafting/Design
2) Recent Detailing experience (within last 1-2 years)
3) 3-5 years Experience doing detailing work with in a metals fabrication environment
4) Experience with AutoCAD2000 or better
5) Experience detailing structural steel as well as miscellaneous or ornamental metals (ie. Steel railings, staircases, & etc)

Job Responsibilities:
1) Provide shop ready drawings for efficient and accurate fabrication of miscellaneous metal, steel stairs, ornamental metals and structural steel
2) Participation in original design based on client specifications
3) Provide accurate ?material take-off? (i.e. BOM) for purchasing, fabricating, and record keeping
4) Field measurement for accuracy in detailing
5) Eventually will be responsible for representing company to employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, and design professionals after tenure and training
