DCS Engineer

DCS Engineer Job - We have an immediate need for 3 - 5 DCS Designers with coal plant experience in Pittsburgh, PA. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 - 5 years overall design experience with some experience in the coal plant industry. Any experience with Ovation or WDPF controls systems is a big plus.

DCS Engineer Job -> When you apply to this job you will be asked the following questions: Why are you interested in this position? Do you have any experience with either Ovation or WDPF DCS? If so, please list your experience. Have you led major DCS projects before? Do you have experience in coal fired power plant applications? Specifically, any experience on once-through (no drum) boiler packages? How much experience do you have with taking P&ID’s and-or logic descriptions and converting these into SAMA & Logic drawings? Are you comfortable with discussing logic design in power plants with utility customers, architect engineers, and major equipment suppliers (like Alstom, B&W, Hitachi, Foster Wheeler, etc.)?
