Customer Engineer 2+-5 years experience – Bachelor’s Degree

General Purpose and Summary:
Work with engineering team in the deployment of a fully integrated, outsourced IT infrastructure solution.
Receive and configure customer servers and workstations in accordance with mindSHIFT build standards.
Assist in the support of the activities of the mindSHIFT Integration Center to include: maintenance and repair of customer equipment, hard drive restorations, inventory/equipment tracking.
Travel to customer sites to provide break/fix support, equipment delivery, etc.

Essential Functions:

Provide assistance in staging equipment for customer implementations including; receiving and unpacking incoming equipment, imaging servers and workstations, providing QA on outgoing equipment, and re-packing equipment for shipment to customer sites.
Work to replace faulty hard drives, peripherals and restore customer equipment using restore utilities.

Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of network and desktop operating systems, specifically Windows 2000/2003 Server and Windows 2000/XP Professional. Familiarity with applications loads in an Active Directory environment (including MS Office application suite).
Knowledge of network data communications and personal computer diagnostic aids and tools.
Experience designing, building and maintaining desktop images.
Ability to produce as a member of a team and independently.
Ability to lift boxes of 50 pounds.
Good driving record.
