REQUIREMENTS
Plant:
Located near Chicago, You can live in the City, Suburbs, or in Farm Country.
Mid-sized Custom Injection Molder with diversified client base. (Auto, Telecom, Med.)
Very clean and modern facility with newer equipment.
Very profitable, predicted revenue growth of 25-30 % this year, with room for expansion.
Great quality department that is running well and producing phenomenally low PPM’s.
Plant has already achieved TS-16949 certification.
Has won several customer awards.

Position:
Reports to the Director of Engineer and is a very visible position for future promotions.
Will prioritize and manage the company’s internal Request for Quotations.
Quote process:
Will calculate volumes==will determine cycle times==will audit daily work to make sure cycle times, volumes and part weights are correct==will interface with engineering to distinguish if the job is automatic or not==will determine which size press to run the part in==will plug numbers into a program they use to determine piece part cost==will then take the tooling package and incorporate their information into the companies==will then present to the Director of Engineering who tweaks the numbers if needed==after this a quote is formulated

Requirements:
Must have plastic injection molding experience from a tight tolerance custom injection molding environment.
Must have automotive experience tier 1 and/or tier 2.
Strong knowledge of procedures for cost estimating of piece parts and tooling.
Technical understanding of blue prints and thermoplastic resins.
Must be able to calculate part volumes from 2D drawings.
Thorough knowledge of injection molds, secondary operations and automation equipment.
Must be proficient in Excel Spreadsheets
