Exciting career opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join CIM an M.C. Dean, Inc. Company. CIM a control systems integrator providing industrial control solutions based on state of the art hardware and software.
Controls Engineer will need both hands-on Technical Skills and Project Management experience.
Controls Engineer provides technical information to the others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems; and acts as a liason with the client or owner regarding the project process.

Controls Engineer is responsible for:
Designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for Company projects.
Operating computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Directing and coordinating the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Performing detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
Inspecting completed installations and observing operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Supervising and training project team members as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
The technical skills should include at direct program development using at least two of the following PLC vendor products:
Rockwell (Allen-Bradley)
Modicon
Siemens S7 series
GE Fanuc Series 90
In addition, direct system development using at least two of the following HMI vendor products:
Rockwell RsView32
Intellution iFIX
WonderWare
Siemens WinCC
Hands-on experience with Visual Basic or C++ to be valuable or the following DCS products:
DeltaV
Siemens PCS7
Preferred application areas would be:
Critical power systems to include power management, power monitoring, generator monitoring & control
SCADA experience in the water and/or waste water field
Security applications experience
Semiconductor and/or pharmaceutical
