Control Systems Design Engineer

Flight Controls electrical design engineer for design, analysis, testing and troubleshooting of 777 Primary Flight Controls Computer (PFC) and Actuator Control Electronics (ACE) hardware and software. System design includes system requirements definition, system architecture and definition of interfaces. Tasks include specification control drawing development, System Functional Test and Schematic development, technical coordination with other company systems groups, component procurement via outside suppliers, factory liaison/ troubleshooting, in-service problem resolution and FAA coordination. Testing includes test definition, detailed test plan development, conducting tests and test result analysis.


Requirements:

Assignment requires Electronic flight control system knowledge and program management skills. Attributes that are highly desirable include being a good communicator, team player, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, in addition the ability to adapt to new and changing processes and tools. typically a minimum of 13 years experience in an applicable engineering classification. Prefer a BSEE. Other engineering degrees will be considered.
