Control System Engineer

Purpose: Our client, one of the largest, most experienced and most trusted provider of complex project engineering and support is looking for a Control Systems Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have five (5) plus years of experience in the oil refining industry with Hart interface using Honeywell DCS controllers. However, any DCS experience will be considered and the prson will be trained on Honeywell's system. This person will be able to program and use Hart interface compliant equipment to monitor and control equipment within the plant.

To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to design, install and support Honeywell DCS (Distributed Control System) Total Plant and Experion platforms in a refining environment.

Must be able to program, troubleshoot and operate the above systems. Design experience with these systems is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, DCS Engineers, Control System Engineers or equivalent work experience in the refining industry is preferred.

Though the office's location is in Camarillo, this position will be entirely in the field, mostly at Oil Refineries, Chemical Plants, Breweries, and Paper Plants in the LA, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Kern counties.

Candidates must be willing to travel. A company car will be offered is the individual drives more than 12k miles a year to these sties. Travel expenses will be fully reimbursed.
