The two process units at the LaPorte site produce BDO (Butanediol), THF (Tetrahydrofuran), and PTMEG (Terathane Polyether Glycol).We are located on the Houston Ship Channel, about 25 minutes from downtown Houston and near the Johnson Space Center, Galveston, and many other Gulf Coast locations of interest. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
5+ years previous experience in industrial setting.Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering5+ years experience with control systems (i.e. Distributed Control Systems) in Chemical or Petrochemical manufacturing.Experience in scoping and implementing capitol improvement control system projects
Preferred:Experience in E&I reliability engineering highly desired.Supervisory or management experience a plus.Control loop tuning experienceBasic DCS Configuration experienceHoneywell, Knowledge and use of advanced control and computer simulation applications
