Great Temp-to-Permanent opportunity for an Assistant Contract Administrator at a well-established firm in Oregon. 2 to 5 years experience in manufacturing or construction environment including knowledge of construction / contract law is favorable with strong emphasis on FAR/DFAR experience. BS in Engineering or Business, or 5-10 years relevant experience.Candidate will support and administer large FAR/DFAR based government contracts to support project/program objectives and ensure compliance; produce outgoing correspondence; support and administer change orders and contract amendment requests; serve as primary point of contact for contract related issues; perform document control duties, including system set-up, maintenance, and personnel training; draft, review, maintain project management and contract administration procedures; and handle contractual issues and perform contract analysis to support the project team. Excellent and professional communication skills are required due to frequent communication with Project Managers, Controllers, Company President, Quality Control personnel, customers, vendors and sub-contractors.
