Construction Scheduler

Scheduler Essential Job Functions:
Will work with Development Team Manager (DTM) to develop baseline projects schedules that reflect project specific strategy and scope.
Updates schedule weekly per input from DTM and each department team member, providing analysis and proactive suggestions for improving project delivery.
Prepares alternative project schedules, work plans and provides analysis to assist DTM’s in developing detailed projected calendars.
Reports all potential risks to the timely completion of design, CEQA, DTSC and site acquisition efforts.
Prepares reports are requested by the DTM.

REQUIREMENTS
Scheduler Job Requirements:
Prefer a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management or a related field.
Preference for 3-8 years experience in multi-project pre-construction phase scheduling.
Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner (P3) required; P3e or P3/c preferred.
Knowledge of pre-construction (i.e. environmental, design, site acquisition, etc.)
Has demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
Good communication skills.
The OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in Construction Safety & Health must be completed by all employees working and/or visiting any project site within 30 days of their start date.
