Construction Eng Mgr 2

DUTIES: Will demonstrates superior technical knowledge of engineering discipline(s) to perform required tasks. Excellent staff management skills will be applied to recruiting/hiring, training and salary administration. Will establishes technical procedures and guidelines for engineering and design activities. Responsible for establishing and reinforcing these standards of practice within the organization. Maintains consistency through periodic surveillance and manages the judicious use of overhead in achievement of these objectives. Works closely with operations staff to establish project staffing, and with business development to support the sales process related to engineering. Has excellent client skills and a strong understanding of all project related technical issues. Has ability to motivate staff to obtain optimal performance.


REQUIREMENTS: BS in engineering or equivalent, increasing work experience, professional licensure encouraged and rewarded. Area of expertise should come from projects related to Commercial Building such as department store or related structures.
