Interprets and development of CM standards as applies to program to ensure compliance to IS&S, CMMI, and ISO 9001. Also, change management of program status accounting records administration where required. Provide coordination and guidance in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages and systems, computational software and related technology, and the integration of computers into the overall functions of scientific computation, and data acquisition, transmission, and processing. Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract. Review system design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and process requirements. Perform verification of system requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. In addition, the following specific skills are required: On a daily basis the position uses IS&S Program Process Standards, Configuration Management, Management controlled procedures. Daily tracking of all schedule engineering review packages. Decision analysis based on package preparation in accordance with program process, format and procedures. Working knowledge of CM tools, action item databases and the ability to follow to closure to include metrics. Implement the delivery process for all CDRLs submitted to the Customer. Customer relations with the ability to facilitate and communicate with various levels of management, CMMI, ISO 9001:2000, Automated CM Tools. Customer coordination and liaison skills, Specific program environment knowledge base, current program application experience and well defined organizational skills. Provide CM support to proposal activities. Individual needs to be self -motivated and a strong team player. Provide CM administration to Change activities including ERB/CCBs. Establish customer interface for formal configuration audits. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
