Configuration Analyst

Our Electronics and Avionics Systems (EAS) Product Line specializes in the design, development, test, and production of complex electronics systems. EAS is seeking a Configuration Analyst for full-time employment in Columbus, OH. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. A full benefits package will be provided. Relocation support is available for qualified candidates.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and administer all assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, and accounting
Manage multiple configurations, revisions and versions of software and hardware changes
Develop and maintain project Configuration Management Plans in accordance with established procedures
Administratively control assignment of software/hardware Configuration Items by Drawing/Part and Serial Number
Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with systems engineering, operations, and program management, as required
Follow established procedures for the implementation and introduction of changes to engineering documents in accordance with ASME Y14.100-2000, Engineering Drawing Practices
Ensure that customer requirements are implemented and review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with quality and configuration management procedures
Participate in Material Review Boards to coordinate corrective action and disposition for nonconforming material
Facilitate Configuration Change Boards to evaluate proposed changes to Configuration Items
Prepare Waivers/Deviations; Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) for submission to the Government for approval
Create and distribute reports, trend analysis and metric charts for Configuration Status Accounting
Support Functional/Physical Configuration Audits and First Article Test/Inspections
Establish Technical Data Packages in accordance with MIL-DTL-31000
Occasional travel is required
REQUIREMENTS


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- B.S. in engineering, computer science, or other technical degree from an ABET-accredited program
Ten years experience, with 5 or more years in a CM role
Knowledge of Government and ANSI CM practices, processes, and guidelines. (MIL-STD-973, ANSI/EIA-649, and MIL-HDBK-61A for Configuration Management)
Aggressive attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communications
Sole US Citizenship to obtain and maintain Government security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

- NDIA or CMII Certified Configuration/Data Manager
Proficient with ProEngineer/Intralink
Knowledge of Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft InfoPath
