Daktronics has strong leadership positions in, and is one of the world's largest suppliers of, electronic scoreboards, computer-programmable displays, and large screen video display and control systems. Daktronics excels in the control of large display systems, including those that require integration of complex multiple displays showing real time information, graphics, animation and video. Daktronics provides products and services in its three primary markets of sports, commercial and transportation. Products for sports markets include electronic scoreboards for all sports and all levels of competition, large screen video displays, timing systems for aquatics and athletics, and statistics software. Sports market customers include professional sports teams and facilities, colleges and universities, high schools, middle schools, park and recreation departments. Keyframe provides services such as maintenance, training, production, and content. Some of the primary equipment supported includes Daktronics Inc. ProStarâ, LED Video Displays and various controllers and software. These positions require the ability to understand Daktornics systems and system integration with stats programs and video.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Support Keyframe technical services personnel throughout the world.
1.1.Will communicate with staff to identify the issues or problems, followed by appropriate documentation.
1.2.Will troubleshoot and repair issues over the phone and/or via e-mail. Issues will include hardware, operating systems, applications, and networking.
1.3.Accurately and timely document work for future reference.
1.4.Take responsibility for solutions to customers’ network and control system issues.
1.5.Will also interact directly with the customer at times.
2.Quickly become an expert in Daktronics control systems, hardware platforms, and network designs. Become an expert in configuring and connecting these systems to the Internet.
3.Will work with design group to develop long term solutions or enhancements to meet customers needs and/or expectations.
4.Assist with software upgrade rollouts.
5.Setup, configure and maintain digital display networks and control systems.
6.Assist with documentation of hardware/software procedures and tasks.
7.Work scheduled and unscheduled time as needed to effectively support the system and meet the goal of no unscheduled down time.
8.Willing to participate in appropriate company sponsored training to improve product knowledge.
9.Competently represent Daktronics to customers. Use good judgment and make sound decisions. Become knowledgeable of and follow company procedures.
10.Work effectively as a team member assisting when and where needed. Represent Daktronics in a confident and professional manner. Become knowledgeable about and follow company procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology or 2-year degree in Computer Information Systems, Networking or Computer Technology.
2.Keen interest in computers: hardware, networking and software.
3.Demonstrated commitment to system performance and uptime.
4.Effective phone, e-mail, verbal and written communication skills required.
5.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6.Efficiently troubleshoot via phone and/or e-mail.
7.Ongoing ability to quickly learn new software and hardware.
8.Ability to travel to customer sites via air or ground transportation. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked.
