JOB DESCRIPTION:
Exceptional Opportunity for an energetic, motivated team player interested managing individual Business Unit. Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineers, Inc. (ATDE), a Civil Engineering firm specializing in the field of Traffic & Transportation Engineering is accepting applications for the position of a Project Manager at our Headquarters Office in Warren, NJ. Qualified candidates will have realistic potential of Partnership. Candidate must possess a valid Professional Engineering License in NJ or NY with the ability to obtain NJ PE licensure within short term of employment. Minimum of six (6) years of management level Civil/Traffic Engineering experience is required.
Skills should include proficiency with HCM, Synchro, Microsoft Office, and the ability to review plans with AutoCAD, AutoTurn, and Microstation. Must have practical design and construction experience related to site development plans and signal design/operations. Communication and organizational skills commensurate with management level personnel, including written skills for report preparation, and oral presentation skills for project meetings and public hearings.
Successful candidate will be responsible for all elements for Project Management from business development, proposal writing, fee controls, invoicing, collections, and financial tracking on multiple projects, to preparation of reports, plans, documentation and permit applications to procure approvals for a wide variety of private sector clients. Applicant must be willing to attend evening hearings and must represent the firm within venues that require public testimony. Position also includes responsibility for assisting with office operations and financial performance, employee management and development, coordination between corporate offices, and development of strategic plans for business development.
