This is a very progressive and profitable Civil Engineering, Land Planning and Surveying firm in Riverside, California. They have a backlog of projects and are in need of an experienced AutoCAD Designer / Drafter for Commercial and Industrial development projects.

THIS IS NOT A CONTRACT POSITION, THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITON

DESCRIPTION


This position is for an experienced Civil Drafter / Designer using AutoCAD and/or LDD. The candidate should have at least 5 or more years of design experience. Job duties include the preparation of land development designs for mainly Commercial and Industrial projects. Site grading, drainage design. Sewer, storm-drain design. Subdivision design. This position offers an excellent opportunity to wear many hats and grow with the firm. In this role, you will be able to work closely with the Principal engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

4+ yrs experience with AutoCAD design / drafting

Experience with Commercial, Industrial, some Residential plans

B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus


Candidate should possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and team orientation. Should be able to follow through with design work from inception to completion.
