City Engineer

Responsibilities include work program and scheduling, capital improvement planning, construction project administration, staff supervision and training, development reviews, consultant selection and supervision, budget preparation, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements include graduation from an ABET accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Civil Engineering, four (4) years of progressive responsibility in designing municipal projects including water and sewer utility experience, or a combination of a minimum of two (2) years of municipal design with a minimum of four (4) years working as an engineer for an equivalent population base municipality or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that would provide the level of knowledge and ability required for the position. Must also have a minimum of two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience.
