Circuit Activation Engineer

Comsys is searching for contractors for a Circuit Activation position in Richardson, TX. Contract will last at least through the end of November with possibility for extension.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide support and technical knowledge on Activating Customer related Data and Voice Circuits. Timely activation, coordination and scheduling, and closing orders to ensure billing starts on time. Perform centralized installation operations functions. Perform customer test assist, pre-verification, loop acceptance. Complete technical tasks designed to ensure quality delivery as assigned. Develop customer support procedures for specific customers as assigned. Be able to elicit customer satisfaction through professional, mature and responsible communication with customers. Conduct analog, FT1, T1 and DS3 level circuit testing.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements/Notes:
Practical knowledge of electronics, electricity, and telecommunications gained through education and Training. Working knowledge of dedicated data and Frame Relay products required. Associates degree in electronics and 2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Shift work, overtime and on-call must be acceptable.
