Position Responsibilities:

Support the DCS MOX project licensing and chemical safety analysis.

Develop safety evaluations that demonstrate MFFF satisfies the requirements of 10CFR70.61 for hazards associated with physical and chemical processes.

Assist ISA with developing models to support the adequacy of the safety strategies

Defend technical bases of MFFF safety demonstration

Required Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in Nuclear, Chemical, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with chemical safety analysis

Experience with chemical processes and systems

Experience writing and reviewing technical documents and procedures

Experience with standard office software

Desired Qualifications:

Technical Experience related to the commercial, nuclear process industry

Experience with heat transfer phenomena

Chemist / Understanding chemical phenomena and reaction
