Chemical Engineer Supervisor

Purpose: Yuma company is looking for a Chemical Engineer Supervisor. He or she will be responsible for providing the technical expertise for the RO membrane desalting processes, including development of: start-up procedures, operating parameters, anticipated results, tests required to ascertain conformance with these expected results, and required studies and tests related to optimizing membrane performance and life. Together with the engineering staff, the Engineering Supervisor will develop and define the physical and chemical test programs, preparing the necessary reports to define the work performed and to support the conclusions reached. Evaluate process performance and make recommendations for process improvements through equipment or operational changes. Additionally the Engineering Supervisor will oversee the chemical laboratory and computer operations and services for the DCS and SCADA. BS degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is required., Advanced work in fields relating to desalination processes is desired., Minimum 10 years, associated with the operation of water/wastewater treatment, is required., Direct experience with desalination plants and research and development is desired., Experience must include at least two years in a position which supervises other engineers and technical staff.Contact Information
