CT Systems Engineer

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: Join the GE Healthcare Global CT business to develop world-class CT scanner systems.
As a CT Systems Engineer you will play a key role in expanding CT system imaging capabilities, improving customer satisfaction and achieving new levels of system integration, functionality, performance, product reliability and quality. In this role you will work with a global cross-functional team including customers,
engineers, manufacturing and service to develop system requirements and designs to achieve product goals. Activities include feature definition, system analysis/design, risk analysis, requirements
flow down, integration and test, process development and customer support including corrective and preventative actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE, ME, CE, CS or Bio) /Physics and a minimum of 5 years relevant product development experience and broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design.
Technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc).
Willing to work out of our Milwaukee, WI location
Willing to travel occasionally (varies from 0% to 20% depending upon the particular program requirements)
Wiling to submit to a background investigation and drug screenDesired: *Master's degree in Engineering (EE, ME, CE, CS or Bio) /Physics and a minimum of 3 years relevant product development experience and broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design.
Demonstrated leadership of global cross-functional project teams and ability to develop and drive project design plans and processes.
Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Medical imaging system design and product development experience.
Black Belt DFSS certification / Design for Reliability experience
Understanding of CT Systems.General: The chosen candidate will join a dynamic cross-functional organization that is responsible for developing and manufacturing state of the art CT systems. This role is within the CT Systems Engineering Team, which is accountable for ensuring outstanding image quality performance and
reliability for new product developments as well as current products.
