Job Description:
Participate in the design and development of FW for the client’s next generation consumer electronics products. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in real time embedded graphics software development and be familiar with the techniques and tools to efficiently achieve the program and product goals. Responsibilities include design, implementation, debugging, unit test and integration of the newly developed Firmware.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of real time embedded software development experience
• System on Chip (SoC) development
• Excellent command of the memory/process management and CPU consumption, thread synchronization, interrupts and message queue/dispatch/IPC mechanisms
• Excellent knowledge of C programming language
• Excellent knowledge of graphics concepts such as rendering, overlay, anti-aliasing, frame buffer management, alpha blending etc.
• Excellent knowledge of GUI design and concepts
• Strong knowledge of Scripting languages – Tkl/TK and Perl
• Familiarity with the GNU tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands on knowledge of the logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and other tools and their use to debug the firmware and hardware
• Experience working closely with ASIC engineers and on custom hardware

Experience with the following technologies is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of the X11 server design
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and socket communication
