CO096 - Business Develop Spec

Identify, quantify, and qualify assigned business opportunities Effectively communicate MEI’s capabilities and core competencies to potential customers Managing opportunity pursuit and capture Develop key business development documents, including Request for Information responses, tailored capabilities briefings, white papers, business contact records, pursuit plans, capture plans, past performance inputs, etc. Manage opportunity pursuit and capture Provide inputs/changes to the business development processes Develop key teaming agreements and alliances Support the proposal library evolution Develop and maintain a lessons learned repository Implement a customer assessment process Develop strong relationships with senior MEI staff and other business development personnel to achieve objectives for the business Represent the company at key conferences or symposia Ensure advertising, publicity and promotions are in concert with the business development activities Conform and support all NASA , JSC, & MEI safety requirements and procedures May require other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate Engineering, Math or Physics Degree, some business skills desired 0-5 years experience Strong research and analytical skills Ability to think creatively Ability to constructively summarize large amounts of data into meaningful metrics Willingness to work flexible hours Ability to work in a team environment Ability to think and plan strategically; ability to implement the strategy Capable of receiving a Secret Clearance Unquestioned ethics and moral integrity Strong written and verbal skills Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to travel 1-2 weeks per month, primarily in the U.S. Must have US Citizenship
