CNC Machinist, Machining Center - Experienced Trouble Shooter

Robert C. Weisheit, Company provides Super Precision machined products to the most demanding industries worldwide utilizing over 40 CNC machining centers. Machining products, requiring ± .0005” tolerances and micro finishes as low as 8 for the Aerospace, Medical, Diesel, and Telecommunication industries, are commonly seen from prototypes to full production runs. Demanding tolerances as these can only be held by the best equipment available; that is why Robert C. Weisheit machines with Matsuura (11) and Hardinge (13) machining centers. Currently we are seeking to fill the following position:

Experienced Vertical & Horizontal CNC Machinist / Troubleshooter / Set Up

person is needed for a first shift position (6am to 4pm). Qualified candidates must have 8-15 years CNC machining experience in a job shop environment working with close tolerance parts. All applicants are required to set-up and trouble shoot machining problems utilizing CNC machining centers. Programming experience not required, but would be greatly beneficial. Approximately 70% of our machinists write their own programs. The ability to quickly comprehend blue prints, make in process inspections, and trouble shoot machining problems is required. A high school education or GED equivalent is required. General Knowledge of GD&T and the ability to machine tough materials is a plus along with any supervisory and training experience.
