CMM Operator
Volt Services Group is currently seeking a CMM Operator. This individual will be responsible for minor program changes, set-up and operation on all required manufacturing parts and conduct data exchange through the CAD/CAM system.
Requirements:
Minimum of one year experience. The candidate must have the ability to read blue prints, mylars, and customer specifications. Must have solid experience with measurement and calibration methods.The successful candidate will be required to: - Program the probe path of the CMM on a personal computer (PC) - Complete data exchange through the CAD/CAM system - Set up and operate the CMM following proper operating and safety procedures - Follow parts schedule prepared by the supervisor. Modify the schedule as required to accommodate 'hot jobs' or emergency requirements. - Work with CAD/CAM programmers, quality, and production personnel to identify key characteristics. - Perform daily routine maintenance on the CMM to ensure the safe and efficient operation. - Participate in work center team and/or other projects.
