CHEMICAL PRODUCTION ENGINEER

The Chemical Engineer will actively support and promote continuous improvement performance standards and develop measurements where applicable. Will aggressively implement continuous improvements in employee ownership, performance and reliability and actively support and enforce the plant's HS&E standards. Provides process and production engineering expertise and helps identify and develop needs for operation personnel (hourly and supervisors). Our Process Engineers support the Management Team’s initiatives and help drive change, while providing miscellaneous leadership such as SPC, and will contribute to production planning and maintenance planning. Candidate must be open to project engineering role for smaller projects.
REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Chemical Engineering is needed, and 3+ years of experience in a chemical operation. Ability to establish good working relationships with all levels is a necessity, as is strong problem solving ability.
