CDMA Sr. RF Engineer

We are seeking experienced Senior-level CDMA RF engineers for various projects in North California. Engineers will be involved in the design, deployment, and optimization of CDMA2000 1X and EV-DO networks for leading wireless carriers. Projects may involve one or more primary roles from design, implementation, performance analysis, and optimization. Familiarity with EV-DO packet data protocols, power and rate control schemes is required for candidates. Engineers must have significant RF engineering experience with Nortel or Lucent CDMA systems at a senior-level of professional experience. Engineers MUST have suitable experience in radio propagation analysis, modeling, data communication networks analysis, design and optimization of CDMA networks. Knowledge of, and experience with, CDMA2000 1X and EV-DO system theory and operation is required. DEMONSTRATED PROFESSIONAL CDMA RF ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE AT A SENIOR LEVEL IS ESSENTIAL FOR CANDIDATES. Necessary optimization skills for all candidates include experience identifying and resolving network performance problems related to voice calls and data sessions. Candidates MUST have a thorough familiarity with Layer 3 messaging plus CDMA 1X and EV-DO call flows. Must be able to process and analyze drive test data using common software tools. Experience with Planet EV, Agilent, Grayson or Wiltek measurement tools for network optimization and Actix post processing tool is preferred. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA (i.e., citizen, green card, or valid work visa).
