Prerequisites include an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering and/or one to five years of CAD design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop/Civil 3D; Microstation and Inroads, a plus. The successful candidate will have experience in plan development for DOT, municipal, and private roadway/highway design projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting plan development involving conceptual, functional, preliminary, and final horizontal and vertical designs; cross section development; calculation of quantities; traffic control plan design; pavement marking plan design; signing plan design; public hearing and workship maps; and graphical mapping for transportation planning and feasibility studies.
