CADD Operator II

Talent Tree Seattle seeks CADD Operator with mid-level experience.
Position Summary: Responsible for preparing moderately complex drawings and revisions within a given discipline in accordance with established manual and CADD procedures to communicate engineering ideas, designs and information. Exercises some independent judgment on detail of work.
Essential Duties:
· Learns and develops new skills while assisting experienced CADD Operators
· Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignments
· Operates CADD workstation requiring the ability to use a personal computer and familiarity with various drafting software programs
· Creates moderately complex drawings and revisions from engineer's sketches with minimal supervision
· Performs other duties as requested
REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with MicroStation a must and familiarity with WSDOT standards preferred.
Special Requirements/Working Conditions: Work is primarily performed in an office setting with minimal health or safety hazards. Noise level and temperature is moderate. Minimal lifting or climbing. Some travel such as, but not limited to, other offices, work sites, and local business errands. Requires operating office machines such as, but not limited to, computers, copiers, phone and fax.
Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write basic correspondence such as memos. Face-to-face and telephone communication. No presentations skills necessary. Reasoning Ability and/or Critical Thinking: Work situations require consideration and interpretation of circumstances or information to choose the most effective response. Solutions may be technical yet relatively straightforward and well defined once problems are understood.
