CAD Specialist

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all 2D & 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) files for the large data center projects. Tasks will include, but are not limited to the following; Creation of 2D drawings, 3D models and associated Bills of Materials (BOMs) for facilities; Conversion of contractor facility drawings into As-Built 2D drawings and 3D models; Maintenance and updating of facility 2D drawings and 3D models, as required; (2D Electrical Power Schematic Drawings, 2D and 3D Electrical Power Hookup Drawings, 2D and 3D Computer Floor & Equipment Layouts, etc.); Drawing, Model, and BOM File Management, Version Control, and archival

Required: 5 Years 2D & 3D CAD Experience in Commercial Building Design. Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design, 2D & 3D
Design Experience working with one or more of the following applications or an equivalent: AutoCAD 2004 +, Architectural Desktop.
Building Systems, Revit Building. U.S. Citizenship is required. Position requires that candidate obtain a security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position

Desired: 7+ Years 2D & 3D CAD Experience in Commercial Building Design, Working Knowledge of Government policies and procedures. Familiar with development and implementation of IT processes and procedures

STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION: Uses standard computer aided design CAD digitizing techniques and skills. Digitizes, edits, and revises integrated circuit drawings consisting of components and/or assemblies. Makes basic engineering computations and prepares and revises specifications. May prepare pattern generating or artwork tapes for mask fabrication and operates plotters to obtain circuit drawings. Makes mathematical calculations and determines scales. May be required to diagnose and correct equipment problems.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS: 5 yrs 2D/3D CAD exp., Associate Degree in CAD, Autocad 2004+, U.S. citizen, able to get SECRET clearance

DESIRED SKILLS: 7+ yrs CAD experience, Knowledge Govt policies/proced, Knowledge IT process/procedure

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience.
