C++ Software Developer

Perceptive Software, is seeking C++ Software Developers to join the team. We like to push code to its limits and see what it can do.

Want to continue to learn, and enjoy a good challenge.You won't be pigeon holed; all developers are involved in all aspects of software development: including analysis, design, development, unit testing, code consolidation, and code maintenance.There will be opportunities to work with design/analysis teams to create modules for new product types and help to provide strategies for Q/A testing.Creation of internal documentation for development while assisting a professional documentation expert with the end user documentation would be expected.
Software Developers at Perceptive Software demand excellence of themselves and their colleagues. You would join a team of highly skilled software developers with expertise with multiple languages (primarily C/C++) and client/server programming.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field, required.

2-5 years experience developing Windows or Unix applications required.

Strong experience in object oriented design and programming including full software development life cycle.Knowledge of relational database programming and experience with MS-SQL or Oracle or DB2 or ISAM databases, both high and low level programmatic integration, is highly desirable.Localization experience, particularly with European languages a strong plus.

Familiarity with multiple hardware/software development environments, languages and technologies including MS Windows and Unix variants.

Experience developing industrial strength client and server applications in MS Windows and/or Unix using MS Visual C++, MFC, SQL, and ODBC using ANSI standards where applicable.

Prior experience in a high volume consumer business a big plus.Priority will be given to resumes that arrive with information outlining programming abilities in C++.
