Buyer - Active Position as on 9/8/06

BuyerAutomotive manufacturer of oversized motorized vehicles is seeking a Buyer for its plant on the southeast coast. Company just obtained 150+ million dollar development contracts and is expanding to fill their new needs. The ideal candidate will have through experience with developing, maintaining and evaluating a broad base of capable suppliers for all parts and materials. Client is looking for a Buyer with 5 years experience with purchasing of machining and manufacturing product lines. Familiarity with MRP, MRP II, and ERP will be essential tools for these positions along with any SAP experience a plus. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or its equivalent required. The buyer will be required to analyze the material requirements of this plant as presented by the Manufacturing Plan and to fulfill the requirements with on time deliveries of proper quality material at the lowest possible price to give the best all around value to the Corporation. Looking for a candidate with high energy level and interpersonal/communication skills for this great opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
