Business Engineer

Position Summary: 1) Manages all business functions associated with project execution in accordance with company policies and procedures. 2) Assures that the work is performed safely and in accordance with the EPC Contract requirements, the project schedule and approved budgets. 3) Identifies potential problems, develops mitigation plans, implements correction action plans, and coordinates with project personnel to resolve problems. 4) Manages the project change order process. 4) Administers other aspects of the EPC Contract. 5) Takes responsibility for contract compliance. 6) Provides coordination with other organizations to accomplish project goals. 7) Assists with project forecasts, schedules, cost estimates and financial reports, 8) Reports to the MOP-Coal functional and to the PD/PM on a day-to-day activities.
Requirements:
1) Familiar with power plant technology, process systems and standards. 2) Committed to safety and quality management processes. 3) Ability to motivate, lead, and organize team members to make recommendations and decisions. 4) BS in Engineering required, MS/MBA desirable.
Job Conditions/Environment:
1) Frequent travel to power plant job sites and vendor facilities required. 2) Unplanned overtime likely.
