Business Continuity Planner

Classification: Contract to Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $45 per hour Our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Continuity Planner. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects, effectively prioritizing, coordinating, and successfully delegating as needed. This person should have demonstrated understanding of business processes and drivers as well as the ability to successfully work with vendors. This person should feel comfortable communicating with all levels of management as well as have a strong work ethic.
•Experience directing or assisting in the development of Business Continuity plans and procedures•Demonstrated ability assessing the Business Continuity implications of proposed technical or organizational changes•Experience coordinating any revisions to existing Business Continuity plans or procedures necessitated by changes•Demonstrated ability to perform risk analysis for business functional areas
•Experience conducting business impact analyses and assists business units to determine critical processes identifying acceptable recovery time periods•Proven ability to establish disaster recovery testing methodologies•Experience conducting disaster recovery training for staff members in all functional areas•Demonstrated ability to develop corporate emergency response procedures•Familiarity with maintaining contact with local/regional emergency response groups•Experience coordinating routine updates to the detailed information supporting the Business Continuity procedures•Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Project, SharePoint, and VisioAll applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
