Bio mechanical Engineer

Purpose: Description: This individual in this position will be primarily responsible for executing bio mechanics projects related to human injury analyses. As such, the individual will be responsible for directing, planning, and conducting research, analysis, and synthesis of technical bio mechanical issues involving kinematics, dynamics, mechanisms of injury, and human tolerance. The successful candidate is expected to clearly communicate findings via written reports and oral means. He or she will also conduct original research, publishing papers in technical journals, and presenting findings at conferences. In addition, this individual will actively participate in our Bio mechanics Practice and assist in marketing the group?s technical capabilities to clients and the scientific community.

Candidate will analyze injuries and reconstructs accidents involving vehicles, consumer products and the environment. Client is equipped with state-of-the-art computer and test facilities for performing human injury evaluations and accident reconstructions, as well as a Bio mechanics research library containing thousands of research articles.
Requirements:

- Ph.D. in Biomedical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years + experience conducting technical analyses concerning the causation of physical injuries resulting from incidents involving motor vehicles, industrial equipment, and/or consumer products.
- Candidates must exhibit effective leadership and the ability to interact with a wide variety of professionals, including managers, engineers, attorneys, and administrative staff.
