This professional will be responsible for supporting successful conception, development, simulation, testing, and maintenance of sophisticated avionics systems including attitude heading references systems and air data computers. This includes researching emerging sensor technologies and developing new algorithm approaches, designing, implementing and testing embedded software for avionics systems, participating in support and maintenance of fielded systems numbering in the thousands and product design activities including electrical, software, or mechanical development.

Qualified candidates will possess an MS or PhD in Aerospace, Software or Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum of 2 years experience in C/C++ programming. Proven communication, analytical, and organizational skills, experience and/or education in dynamics, control theory, inertial sensors, and navigation, plus at least 2 years experience working with Matlab/Simulink is a must.
