Audio Visual Technician (321183)

Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services is looking for an Audio Visual Technician. Responsibilities will include installing, integrating, wiring, troubleshooting, calibrating, and operating and maintaining audiovisual and multimedia equipment and systems for video presentation and videoconference facilities. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.This is a full time position located in Newington, VA. REQUIREMENTS
US citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information). This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in the A/V field. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of audiovisual equipment and systems and concepts. Must be capable of neatly lacing and terminating a variety of cables and connectors and be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. Must have the ability to read blueprints/drawings. Termination skills of cable and connectors is a plus. Must possess an extremely meticulous and organized working style and have an ability to work as a part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills experience is important, responsibilities will include extensive team and client contact. Education: High School Graduate
