Audio DSP Engineer
Duties:
Client is seeking an Audio DSP Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of Mac and Windows applications that implement audio signal processing. These applications consist of user interface code, hardware sub-system control and signal processing code running on a variety of systems (Motorola 56K, PPC, Pentium). Responsibilities include algorithm development, algorithm implementation, GUI design and implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
Keys:
• Masters in Electrical Engineering with a DSP emphasis or a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 2 years DSP experience
• 2+ years experience in C and C++ programming, assembly language programming
• Experience using signal processing in musical applications such as EQ, compression, limiting, chorus/flanging, and reverb REQUIRED. Beneficial skills, although not required, are assembly language programming experience, real-time programming, and a strong interest in music/audio.
Pluses:
• Real-time programming experience a plus
• Strong interest in audio and music a plus
